Madagascar is one of the most iconic destinations on the planet, many have heard and thought about, but few have ventured to go. It is a very big place - the World's Fourth largest Island - and with so many endemic species that they are yet to be all worked out and classified. The sad side though is that this place is under immense pressure from humans in many forms both internally and the external demand for what they have, so it is being plundered and only only a handful of small places are holding out and keeping the evidence of what was once there alive. So they need your support as it is essentially only through tourism that there will be any reason for the rural communities and governments to consider protecting what remains and even try and increase the protected areas so that species in all their forms can recover.
