Ruckomechi Camp is a luxury safari camp in a private concession area on the Western side of Mana Pools National Park, Zimbabwe. The camp itself has 10 accommodation units and there is also a smaller version of itself not far from the main camp which is primarily designed for small groups or families.
This concession area is much larger than its sister camp Chikwenya, so it does do better for guests looking for the longer stay and I would say 3 or 4 nights here is ideal. For safari activities you have the option of doing day and night game drives, there is also river cruises and if you like fishing you could give that a go during your time here for the legendary Tiger Fish. Bush walks are also an option here but I always find at the Wilderness Safari Camps throughout their portfolio in Zimbabwe, that it is possible, but is often offered as a one off option begrudgingly, not sure why but that is what happens.
Apart from that I find the game viewing here excellent most especially their leopard sightings and I would suggest combining this camp with one of the other camps within the park itself or it's sister camp Chikwenya as a great option
